It’s Only November 6th

I’m definitely one of those people that gets bothered by stores setting up Christmas displays in October. Or really anytime before Thanksgiving. I like each holiday to have its own time in the spotlight. But I won’t lie. I totally listened to this gem of a mix this morning on the way to work. Created by me, last Christmas…enjoy!

Never Trust A Big Butt & A Smile

This morning I was in rush to find a blank CD and thought I found one, but it turned out to be one of my favorite mixes that I can’t even remember making. I plan to listen to this all weekend and I know my boyfriend is going to make terrible fun of me. But it’s worth it.

Listening to the mix on the way into work this morning, I couldn’t help but think of my tween nieces. I get bothered when I hear them listening to over-sexualized pop songs – and what’s worse, singing along. But I guess I have a tendency to forget the songs I was listening to at their same age. Hah!
