Gimme a Break!

The past few weeks have been exhausting. From the passing of Pooter (which still breaks our hearts daily), to getting a new kitten (yes, we actually did that!), to dealing with the new kitty’s many issues (infection, cone, worms, oh my!), to being so busy at work with our upcoming end of fiscal year…let’s just say, I could really use a break.

charity: water does it again!

I’m so very thankful to work for an organization like Water For People, which receives a lot of much-needed funding from charity: water. Sometimes we’re seen as competitors, but at the end of the day, we’re working for the same goal – to end water poverty. I have to admit, charity: water is a marketing-heavy organization, so they’re able to put together amazing videos like this one. I’m touched. I’m moved. And I’m happy to be a part of the movement to provide everyone access with healthy water and sanitation. (P.S. They’re totally regurgitating speaking Water For People‘s message through the entire video. It’s all about having a sustainable model with full community involvement and ownership.)
